The education Cabinet Secretary , Ezekiel Machogu is set to release the KCPE results today Thursday 23th November 2023. This year, more than 1.4 million students sat for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) across all the 28,0000 examination centers. It is great news that the results come early even before the Christmas and the new year Holidays as promised by the education ministry. Students who worked tirelessly would like to know what they got in the exams. Parents will also get a chance to prepare early to take their children to the Secondary schools their children would have been placed when the next academic year begins January next year.
To check the results of your child, parents can use an SMS method where they will send the KCPE index number of their children followed by ”KCPE” as shown in the following example. (e.g., 04107205005KCPE ) through 40054. Just open a new text message, type the fully index number as shown above and send the same to 40054 @ Ksh 25 per sms.
Those who prefer a result slip, follow the simple steps on the KNEC Portal:
1.Visit https:www.knec-portal.ac.ke/.
2.Click ”KCPE Results” tab.
3.Choose exam year
4.Enter the student’s index number.
5.Click ”Submit.”
